- You will need some basic supplies, a variety of colored papers, glues, scissors, and ribbons.  There is no need to buy expensive starter kits, just look at what you have around the house. If you must buy a few items, do so once you have thoroughly searched your own place for whatever useful items you might already have.

- Lastly do some research on the internet. Digital scrapbooking is a growing field and more and more beautiful designs are created daily.
